MOSES: WEST HAM SHOWED GREAT DESIRE

The Hammers eventually did enough to get a point at Carrow Road after going two goals down, and the winger is pleased with the overall performance

Victor Moses hailed West Ham’s desire as they played a 2-2 draw against Norwich City in Saturday’s English Premier League fixture.

Goals from Robert Brady and Wesley Hoolahan put the Canaries two goals up before Dimitri Payet and Mark Noble leveled up for Slaven Bilic’s men.

And Moses who replaced Alexander Song in the 63rd minute was especially pleased with how his teammates fought to secure a point at Alex Neil’s side.

“It was a great game,” Moses told club website. “First half wasn’t the best for us, but in the second half we turned it around [after going 2-0 down].

“You could see the passion and desire we had to come back and we got two goals in two or three minutes. It ended up being a great day for us.

“The most important thing is the point we got. It’s good that we didn’t lose.”

Moses more than played his part in the Hammers’ revival against Norwich, with one of the other star performers being Payet, who followed his goal by setting up the Noble leveller.

“Dimitri Payet is a great player. We all know he has a huge amount of talent,” he continued.

“The first goal was a little similar to the one he scored against Newcastle. This time the keeper saved it and he’s put it in the back of the net.

“It was a good move from me and Dimi as well, and I’m very happy that he was on the scoresheet,” he concluded.

West Ham United are seventh on the English Premier League log with 40 points and will host Sunderland on February 27.
