Arsenal, Chelsea preparing to battle for Bayern Munich attacker in 2025

Arsenal and Chelsea are reportedly vying for Bayern Munich attacker Leroy Sane's signature, as his contract expires in 2025.

Talks between Sane and Bayern have stalled, paving the way for a potential free transfer exit. Foreign clubs, including Arsenal and Chelsea, can negotiate with Sane from January.

Newcastle United also shows interest but may need European football to lure Sane.

Arsenal's Mikel Arteta seeks an experienced wide player, and Sane's Premier League pedigree makes him an attractive option. Chelsea, after a busy transfer window, may offload players to make room for Sane.

Sane struggles to break into Bayern's starting XI, with just four appearances this season. However, he boasts an impressive record: 49 goals, 50 assists in 179 Bayern appearances, and three Bundesliga titles.

Previously, Sane excelled in the Premier League with Manchester City: 39 goals, 43 assists in 135 matches.

At 28, Sane has plenty to offer. On a free transfer, he'd be a valuable addition. Arsenal and Chelsea lead the chase, but will they secure his signature for the 2025-26 campaign?
