Paul Gascoigne Says Manchester United Star Should 'Definitely' Leave Club

English football legend Paul Gascoigne has urged Manchester United's Marcus Rashford to seek a fresh start away from Old Trafford, according to Metro. Gascoigne believes Rashford's stagnant form and apparent lack of enthusiasm warrant a change of scenery.

Rashford, 26, has struggled to replicate his past brilliance, culminating in his omission from England's Euro 2024 squad. Despite ending a 13-match goal drought against Southampton, his inconsistent performances have sparked concern.

Gascoigne, who played for Lazio and Rangers during his illustrious career, questioned Rashford's commitment to Manchester United. "He doesn't seem to care," Gascoigne told SportsCasting. "Even when he scores, he doesn't seem happy about it. There's something going on there."

Gascoigne advocated for a move to Italy, citing his own transformative experience with Lazio. "It shook me up," he recalled. "Go to Italy, that'll shake him up." Italian giants AC Milan, Juventus and Inter Milan could potentially offer Rashford a revitalizing environment.

Paris Saint-Germain has previously expressed interest in Rashford, but Gascoigne's suggestion of an Italian move presents an intriguing alternative. Rashford's future at Manchester United remains uncertain, with Gascoigne's comments likely to fuel speculation.
