Cole Palmer
The leading assist provider in the Premiership so far in 2024 is Cole Jermaine Palmer. This England international has set up 12 goals for Chelsea so far this year. Interestingly, Palmer was able to provide his first assist of the period in February. His highest number of assists in a game within the period came on August 25 when he set Noni Madueke up for three goals in the encounter with Wolves. He increased his tally to twelve the Blues hosted Nottingham Forest just before the October international break.
Palmer is followed by Kevin De Bruyne of Manchester City. This Belgium international has already provided 11 assists in 2024. This midfielder began the year with one assist each in 4 consecutive EPL games. He got his first multi-assist when his club visited in April when he set up both of his club's goals in the 2-0 away win at Nottingham Forest. Kevin got his most recent tally in August when he served as provider for Haaland's goal as he helped the side to secure a 4-1 home win over Ipswich.
Bukayo Saka
The next man on the list is Bukayo Saka of Arsenal. This English winger opened his 2024 with an assist in the 5-0 win over Crystal Palace in January. He added one more each in March and April. He followed these with a run of five matches with 1 each from August to September. The Nigerian-born Englishman got his first multi-assist just before the October, 2024 international break. He was the provider for the first two goals before netting the third goals to give the Gunners a 3-1 win over Southampton. It should be noted that the player that comes next to Saka is another Arsenal star. This is Declan Rice who has been credited with 8 assists within the period.
