Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca’s feelings clear on Jadon Sancho 'due to training behaviour'

Jadon Sancho has enjoyed a fine start to life at Chelsea following his move from Manchester United - and it seems he has already made a big impression on Enzo Maresca

Chelsea ace Jadon Sancho is earning stripes off the pitch as he's reportedly turned up to training ahead of time while catching the eye of Enzo Maresca with his dedication.

The ex-Manchester United star kicked off his stint with the Blues in fine style, setting up Christopher Nkunku to net against Bournemouth in a narrow 1-0 triumph on Sunday (September 14).

Despite clocking his first Premier League match in over twelve months, it was not just his class act on the pitch but his pre-match efforts that wowed his new manager.

Per GiveMeSport sources, the Italian boss is buzzing about the 24-year-old's attitude since arriving at Stamford Bridge in a loan move on transfer deadline day.

Having only been with the Blues for just over two weeks, Sancho has reportedly made considerable efforts to adapt as quickly as possible. He's said to have arrived early for training at Cobham during his first week while introducing himself to the training ground staff, reports the Mirror.

His eagerness to gel into Maresca's squad has immediately reaped rewards, with the coach singing praises after his impressive 45-minute performance on Saturday.

"Very happy, very happy for him. He was very good," the Chelsea boss lauded Sancho. "I have a feeling that Jadon is a guy that needs love. This is what I thought when I spoke with him before he joined us.
Also I know he has the desire to show the player he is, but for me, it is just to enjoy football. This is the reason why they play. Jadon helped us a lot but what he did tonight is exactly what we expected from him. As I said, I know Jadon very good because I watched him many, many times in the past and I know what he can give us."

Chelsea face a tough series of matches ahead against the likes of Liverpool and Newcastle on the horizon. One game that's sure to be on Jadon Sancho's radar is when he squares off against his former Man United team-mates at Old Trafford on November 3.
